free vball while supplies last & 6-9th fee waived to attend Setting Clinic)
Important
volleyball fundaments will be covered with a lot of repetition to reinforce the
skills in a time-efficient, organized camp. Come have fun learning to serve, pass, set, and
attack the ball. Players will be also instructed in team volleyball by
learning position-play (very important!!--especially in
preparation for the GHS Championship TEAM Camp). The clinic will be divided into levels for a
challenge and then into groups for a smaller coach-to-player ratio. The 2nd half of the last day will be reserved
for scrimmaging--spectators welcomed.
*Returning Senior (some Junior) players will be required to assist
GHS coaches for one of their fundraising contribution.
Ø Setting (RS) Clinic: 6th-12th grade, 6:30-9:00pm $20 flat fee, GHS large gym
Improve on your hand contact, footwork, ball
control, and consistency through repetition.
Set names, height, and location will be a focus (which will benefit
hitters, too); upper levels will also learn the setter's role as a leader on
the court. This camp will get you
ahead! NOTE:
This clinic is NOT only for setters.
(Hitters/DS typically under-develop in this skill--thus, limiting overall
improvement and chances for more playing time.)
Sign up and become more well-rounded by learning the details and gaining
a larger spectrum of the sport by understanding game tactics through a setter’s
eye.
A setter’s position must know ALL positions!

TEAM Camp: 6th-12th
grade, (includes t-shirt)
incoming 8-12th --> $110 camp ($130 includes tournament - TBA*), 8-11:00am Lunch 12:30-3:30
6-7th grade --> $80, 9-11:00 Lunch 12:30-2:30 [strongly recommended

The camp’s emphasis on “team” means it
will focus on game-like fundamental team drills, defense, and offensive play in
congruent with the upcoming 2013 volleyball season. It is very organized, down to the minute. The coaches will help select your position/s,
and the clinic will divide players into groups that challenge abilities. This camp will prepare you for a stronger
tryout and season!

Ø UVU Tournament Camp - 9-12th grade (with discretion), @ UVU, $85 (includes guaranteed 17 matches per team (playing time offered to all),
Adidas t-shirt, Seven Peaks Night, UVU Vball Season pass, highly competitive
play with State Championship teams from UT, ID, MT, NV.)
Match schedule TBA. Transportation TBA...parent solely responsible with our help.
It is strongly recommended to attend
Championship TEAM Camp to be able to apply learned skills in this tournament.
